We do not just raise money for individual charities. We have supported Harrow Council and danced in Harrow and Hillingdon Town Centres and have also supported our local Lions in their efforts to raise funds for charities.
In April 2010 we held a sponsored Linedance to raise money for MS and as you can see from the pictures below, it was extremely well attended, we had fun AND raised a considerable amount of money for MS. Then in October 2010, Glenn Rogers very kindly gave us an evening to raise money for the same cause. People came in droves to this event and he was magnificent. We danced, we laughed and we raised money - what a great event.
Our final total raised for MS is £7,231.58; this was raised through the generosity of our dancers and Glenn. A million thanks from us all at 1st Steps.
